As a representative of the Asian Venous Academy, I had the privilege of attending the 2026 Asian Venous Forum in Fukushima, Japan. The meeting brought together venous specialists from across Asia, creating a long-awaited atmosphere of international academic exchange. Through lectures, case discussions, and informal conversations, the forum highlighted not only the latest developments in venous medicine, but also the importance of sustained participation, open dialogue, and regional collaboration. It also prompted reflection on how Chinese venous medicine, with its rich clinical resources and growing innovation, can further strengthen its voice and presence in the international medical community.
